Materials & Structural Engineer

The Materials & Structural Engineer ensures structural integrity and energy efficiency by selecting and optimizing materials under dynamic loads, with a focus on composites and advanced metals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and select suitable materials for rotating and structural components based on system performance criteria.

  • Model material behavior under high-speed, thermal, and vibrational stress.

  • Design and test structural assemblies using FEA tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus.

  • Contribute to the manufacturability and modular design of the system for scalable production.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in composite materials, alloys, and structural mechanics.

  • Experience in high-stress component design (e.g., turbines, rotors, motors, or drives).

  • Familiarity with thermo-mechanical coupling, fatigue analysis, and advanced fabrication techniques.
